biggest tease of the safari was not actually spotting a lion, because by the evidence in the photos -- lion paw prints and a hippo kill that was its victim -- we knew it was close by! Another ranger/guide claimed he spotted the lion behind a tree 50 feet away, but we didn't stick around long to find out!
