A funny thing happened on our way to Rio today. On our flight out of JFK, the pilot announced
that “fourteen students and two faculty from Western New England University
were onboard and en route to Rio for the Olympic Games.” If that wasn’t enough of a surprise shout out, he then
wished “Paul H. a happy 21st birthday,” shown here with his dad. Now I wonder how the pilot knew that?!
