Agenda:  Visit to the famous Pedra do Telégrafo, Delegation closing ceremonies, return to States

This morning, Rodrigo had a surprise treat in store for us when he took us on a 45-minute hike up a steep mountain trail behind the Pousada in Barra de Guaratiba.  Despite the challenging climb, the view from the top was nothing short of spectacular, and the rock ledge near the top provided one of the best photo-op locations in Rio!

You can see the NBC Today Show segment with Natalie Morales and Jenna Bush here--> and if you look carefully you can see some of our crew in the background.  Also, at the very end there is a shout out of sorts to Paul St. Pierre at about 2:09.

Chelsea Johnson with NBC correspondent Jenna Bush Hager and NBC Today Show news anchor Natalie Morales.

Emily Painter with some of the beach and ocean views in background.

Emily Painter and Rickie Rizos re-enact a "cliff-hanging" rescue scene.

Francesco Siniscalchi does it the hard way.

Paul Harris with Golden Bear à la Lion King!

Golden Bear waiting his turn -- about an hour and a half -- for his photo-op atop cliff ledge.

Mike Spratt giving GB a lift up the steep and rocky terrain to the top!

Paul Harris "saves" Golden Bear from a fall that would not otherwise have ended well.

Erika Sheinhait, Mike Spratt, Emily Painter, and Rickie Rizos take in the spectacular views.

Part of the line of people awaiting their turn to take photos atop cliff ledge.

Jeremy Proto showing off for the crowd.

Jenna Bush Hager with Jeremy Proto and other WNE students in line for their photo-op.

A monkey watches us as we trudge along the trail to the mountain top.

There were at least five of these monkeys within arm's reach of the camera.

Natalie Morales and Jenna Bush ham it up on cliff ledge.

The WNE delegation with the Pousada staff on our last day.

Rodrigo and Chico at our Delegation's Closing Ceremonies.

Rodrigo plays Atlas.
