At last night's women's basketball game between USA and Turkey, I was interviewed by NBC Sports courtside reporter Craig Sager, who wanted the background scoop on the WNE contingent that was whooping it up for Team USA. After all was said and done, I told him that the students were part of a study program from WESTERN New England University. A few minutes later, when NBC aired the segment live on our students, Sager referred to our institution as WEST New England University. But the media coverage on WNE and its students has been fantastic . . . and the exposure for WNE is priceless!
