Seminar Abroad V will have two assistants, Mackenzie Smith and Kylie Hamakawa (above left and right, respectively). Mackenzie is from Honolulu and is a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, while Kylie is from Wilbraham, MA, and will be a freshman this fall at DePaul University in Chicago. In addition to assisting Dr. Dan Covell and me with various administrative and logistical functions, they are looking forward to new cultural experiences, including learning how samba is different from hula!
