In order to get to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, we had to take two gondolas, one to a relay station and another to the highest point in Guanabara Bay.
Apparently, a few students were a bit nervous about taking the gondolas that are strung across cables 1,300 feet above the water . . . the above photo is before shove off, while the bottom photo is during the ascent!
