Shangri-la Awaits!

Given the crush of tourists in Rio for the World Cup, we were exceedingly fortunate to score accommodations at a resort called Espaço Lonier, located about 20 miles from Rio's city center and situated on 200,000 square meters of bucolic, green space surrounded by the Atlantic Forest that includes barbecue areas, four soccer fields, a gymnasium, party hall, and even a water park!
