Business of $port

According to Forbes, the FIFA World Cup generates more revenue -- $4 billion in 2014 -- than any other sports tournament excepting the multisport Olympic Games (although the NFL's Super Bowl is the undisputed champ for a single-day event).  But while FIFA's coffers runneth over, the legacy of the 2014 World Cup might well be the Brazilian Government's profligate spending that has many in this futbol-crazed country questioning the wisdom of it all.      http://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeozanian/2014/06/05/the-billion-dollar-business-of-the-world-cup/
